Abstract 


With the advancement of digital technology of the web 3.0 era, the boundaries of the metaverse continue to extend and influence the education sector. Due to the increased demand for online education during the pandemic, more educators turn to the metaverse for course delivery, and multicultural education is no exception. Therefore, the metaverse-based multicultural education course for college students that enhances multicultural inclusiveness, develops the ability to create content, improves digital literacy, and promotes educational equity has been developed and implemented. By reviewing and analyzing relevant literature and the course implementation process, this study aims to present a case of a metaverse-based multicultural education course and provide suggestions and inspirations for multicultural education courses in the web 3.0 era.
